Fondant Draping and Bows Supply List

One 2-hour Class
In this class, you will learn to make fondant drapes, plain or textured; swags and bows
Supplies Needed:
Styrofoam cake dummy covered in fondant
Extra fondant to make drapes and bows
Small to medium sized rolling pin
Textured rolling pin (if you have one – I will bring mine to class for you to try if you don’t have one)
Mat to roll fondant on
Pizza cutter for cutting fondant
Small paint brush or water brush (this is a brush with a reservoir for water in the handle—can be found at
most craft and/or art stores)
Dusting Puff: Three 8” squares of cheesecloth or one 8” square of “Handi-wipes”; ¼ cup cornstarch; ¼ cup powdered sugar; one small rubber band or twist tie. Place the cornstarch and powdered sugar in the center of the cloth and bring ends and sides up and secure with rubber band or twist tie.
